Art doll

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd try something different and have a go at joining
in on an Art Doll swap. This is my first attempt and I'm still
not really sure if she fits the bill of being an 'Art Doll' lol. But
I think she is supposed to be a doll that is not played with as
such. So any comments/criticism would be greatly appreciated.
My 6 year old daughter has decided that she would love to have
her, so I had to convince her to wait and see what
the next one turns out like first as she might like her more,
(especially if lots of purple is invloved) hahaha.
I wanted to give this one a soft grunge look...

Jingle Bells

Hi everyone
Happy Easter to you all, my children are super excited
about the Easter bunnie's visit during the night, but for now,
I'm thinking CHRISTMAS!
Over at Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges, they are having their
second Christmas challenge and the theme is
"Jingle Bells", so Ofcourse I have taken it quite literally
and instead of a card, I have made a cute Bell ornament for
my Christmas tree. I picked the bell up at an op shop (it's a
shame there weren't atleast two) and added some ribbon,
flowers, rhinestone brads, more bells, string, and some
beaded garland and pipecleaners and topped it ofwith the
truly gorgeous Lil Christmas Lad Luca, who you can find
HERE with all the rest of the Lil' Lolitas/Lads.

Tickled Pink Challenge #15

Hi everyone
It's the first day of school holidays over here in WA, and I
wanted to make a card...what was I thinking! It was so not
going to happen, well I finally got there, it didn't turn out
quite the way I wanted it to, but I thought I'd share anyway.
So today I have used the sketch from challenge 15 over at
Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges

and here is my card using "Lil lad Lestat", you can find him
and all the other Lil Lads and Lolitas over at Tickled Pink
Stamps HERE

I have coloured using Derwent Artist pencils.

Love letters

Hi all,
Today I have made for Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges
#13, and this week the challenge is 'Blinging it up'
I have teamed up 'Lil Birthday Luca' (he was a recent freebie
for answering a question on Tickled Pink's Facebook page
Thanks Kellie :oD) with 'Lil fashionette - 30s Lylah' to
create a long lasting Love story, hope you like it...

for 'Bling', I have added a ring, which I snagged from my
6 years old daughter's jewllery box (I'll have to buy her another
one now haha), pearl sprays, crystal hearts, a cute little kissing
couple charm that I picked up at Tickled Pink Stamps some time
ago, and there is also a little clear gemstone button at the
bottom of the floral arrangement. Hope that's enough bling :o)

The flowers and heart doily are also from Tickled Pink Stamps,
and I have added some cardboard, a crocheted doily, some
'Love letters', raffia and I have used Scrabble font.

Here is a close up of the lovely couple, coloured with 2B and 4B
graphic Pencils, to try and get that old photo look...

Another shaker card

Hi everyone,
Wow this is my second post in 24 hrs, I must be feeling crafty
hahaha. I had lots of fun making the shaker card yesterday
and my daughter asked if I could make one for her BFFs
Birthday.

Inside the shaker sre some star shaped sequins, some pearlised
sequins and some beads

I have used the Jane's sketch over at Magnolia Downunder
Challenges again for this card, kind of switched around this
time. I hope its Ok to enter a second one...

My first shaker card

Hi Everyone,
I have made a card today, and I must say, its been
a long time and I was feeling quite rusty! I have always
wanted to have a go at a shaker card, I saw a tutorial
probably a year ago, but Im not sure where that was,
maybe splitcoast stampers or youtube.
and seeing as it is soon to be Easter, I thought I'd
dust off one of the stamps from last year's Easter collection.

I've gone crackers!

Christmas crackers that is :)
Hi everyone,
I decided that I am going to be extra prepared for Christmas
this year and get a start on making things now (or atleast while
I'm in the mood hehe). While I was blog surfing, I decided that
Tickled Pink Stamps have begun a new Christmas Challenge
Blog, you can check it out HERE What Geniuses! Now I can
get some inspiration to keep me creating every month, Yay!
So here we are, it is their First Challenge and the requirements
are to use tradional Christmas colours...Red, Green and Gold
you must also use stamps or digis from the 'Tickled Pink Stamps '
Range, you can check them all out HERE
I decided that I wanted to make some Christmas Crackers or
Candy Boxes, I started by making one, then thought, what the
hey, I'll make 6 and use all 6 stamps from the Tickled Pink
"Lil' Christmas" Collection...

Now I just need to make a box to store them away in until Christmas
and then fill them with yummy treats :o)

Wedding Guest Book

Hi all,
Yes I am still out here, sometimes I can't even find myself :)
Anyway, my Nephew got married on the weekend and he asked
me if I would be able to make a guest book for everyone to sign.
I had, what I felt was the perfect stamp for the cover, so I happily
agreed, even though I had less than a week to make it,
Thanks Reece! but I managed to pull it together and hand it to
them the day before the Wedding, holding my breathe, that they
would like it (lol) I filled the inside with pages where the guests
could not only sign their names but add comments to reflect their
favourite memories of the couple, how they have come to know
the couple, add any advice they would like to give and also
encouraged them to draw a little pic of themselves to make it a
special little keepsake. There were also verses and photo mats for
them to add their fave photos of the day.
I have only photographed the front cover today, as the inside
contained lots of personal information...

The photo doesn't capture all of the glitter, but that doesn't really
matter. I kept everything throughout the book Black, White and
Pink as these were there wedding colours.

My Wild Child

Hi everyone
I have been awol for a long time, so I thought it was time to get
back on the horse and try and get the creativity going again :o)

I have decided to do something a little different and have a go
at a Scrapbook challenge as I have mountains of photos laying
around just begging to be scrapped...so here we go...

I am entering a challenge at ScrapwithV this month they are
using this fabulous sketch as inspiration.

and Here is my take...

'Where the wild things are' was one of my favourite books as a
child and it was one of the first books that I added to my children's
collection. When I saw this 'Max' outfit hanging in the window at
our local Angus and Robertson store last year, I just had to snap
it up for my boy. He looks fabulous as Max and really fits the
character sometimes hahaha.

Magic Reindeer Food

Hi everyone,
I'm sure you've seen this before, I have seen it done on so
many blogs, that I can not just credit one person. This is
my take on "Magic Reindeer Food", I made some of these
last year as well, for my two children, and my 6 year
old is eager to get her hand on some more this year haha.

The verse on the back reads:

Santa's Magic Reindeer Food

(Make a wish and close your eyes tight)

Sprinkle on the lawn at night

the moon will make it sparkle bright

as Santa's reindeer fly and roam

this treat will guide them to your home.

To make the mix of food, I have used a mixture of rolled oats

and some bird seed with Green jelly crystals mixed in to act

as glitter, this way, birds can come and eat the mixture later

without causing them any harm.

I like to send my own personal Santa letter along with the

reindeer food, there are some amazing websites around that

offer free Santa letters, but I like to make mine that little bit

more personalised to fit the person I am sending them to.

I also send a copy of Santa's official 'Naughty or Nice' Ranking

Certificate, which can be downloaded and printed for free from

http://www.emailsanta.com/ there are so many amzing things that you

can see and do on that website, you really should check it out

if you haven't already.

Finally I include the all important Candy cane and stamp up

the envelope to match. Can't wait to see their faces when they

go to the letterbox this arvo ;o)

Advent Calendar

Hi everyone,
I found this Advent Calendar kit at my local scrapbook shop
and I just had to have a go. It was really easy to put together
and I had completed it within a couple hours, quick and easy,
just the way I like it :o)
I used the new Kaisercraft 'Tis the Season' Papers on this and
made it pretty much the same way that it was featured in the
latest Kaisercraft workshop magazine (I loved the papers too
much to change them), and I am thinking of adding a photo
of my children to the inside square next to the Santa.

Wow, I can't believe I made something without stamping!

Colour challenge at MDUC

This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we have
a colour challenge...use Blue, Green, Yellow and Kraft.
I have managed to lose my mojo this week, and still can't
find it anywhere hahaha, but I had a go anyway and this

collection.

Operation Write Home Challenge!

Today at THE STAMPING BAZAAR Marina Neira,
talented artist, who creates all these wonderful images,
is unvieling 4 new gorgeous little critters, to amaze you
all! On top of this, they are hosting their first ever
challenge, entitled "Operation Write Home"

But first I will share with you, some cards that I have made

Operation Write Home is an organization that sends blank
handmade greeting cards for all occasions to deployed service
members to write home on. They’ve mailed approximately
500,000 cards so far—and are still going strong! Our challenge
to you is to make cards to send to them for our nation’s heroes.

*Please check out the guidelines HERE before starting your
card, as it is important to NOT use Glitter on these cards
also the MUST be handmade and A2 sized!

“Operation Write Home” needs to be on the backs of your
cards—it can be stamped, handwritten, or printed on labels.
Please include a packing slip inside your box or envelope,
and mail them to any of their shippers listed on the Mailroom
page. In your package, you can also include notes written to
a deployed service member.

This week at Magnolia Downunder Challenges the challenge is
FANCY FOLDS. I have wanted to have a go at this style of card
for a while now and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to
give it a go. I'm not sure of the name of the style, but I first came
across it in Magnolia Ink magazine, issue #4 on page 55 and there
is a tutorial on making them.
I have used Shopping Tilda and the Boutique Window, from
Magnolia's travel collection.

MDUC challenges

Hi everyone
Today at Magnolia Downunder Challenges the challenge is
Feathers, Fur or Fins
I have made an easel card using the new Mermaid and an
older mermaid from the Magnolia collection...

I added some green feathers and pearls and my daughter told me

it looks like seaweed, haha, she's more imaginative than I am :)

Stamps          Mermaid Tilda (2010) and Mermaid Tilda (not sure which year)
                       Magnolia beach scene, and the Turtle and seahorses are from
                       CC designs.
Other            Dark teal, Deep teal card, DSP
                       Pearl string-clear and pearl. Shells, plasticine pearl covered

                       mesh ribbon. Coloured with Derwent Artist Pencils

Before I go, I just wanted to share with you the card that my little
girl made for her Daddy for Father's Day at pre-school, I think
she's going to be taking my DT spot soon enough LOL

Introducing "Pumpernickel"

Hi everyone
I haven't entered any challenges in what seems like ages
lately! So I sat down this arvo and crafted away...yay!

There is a brand new challenge blog, that just started
this week, called THE FUZZY WUZZY CHALLENGES
They have a colour challenge, as shown here

This is the place to bring out your 'Critter/Animal' images,
I don't have alot, but I have come up with my own design
here, so RUBY, if you are watching, I heard your challenge
or chant a few weeks back to Draw, so I have used one of my
old favourite characters that I used to draw, revived especially
for this challenge.
Stephanne, you asked if he has a name, well yes he does...it is
PUMPERNICKEL strange name I know lol, but when I origially
drew him (almost 10 years ago), I was trying to think of a name
and I kept getting the word 'Pumpernickel' stuck in my head.
I had no idea what Pumpernickel was and couldnt work out why
it was stuck in my head, I asked everyone and no one knew what
on earth I was talking about. Then around a week later, I was
walking past a bakery near where I worked and I saw that they
sold Pumpernickel Bread, hahaha, so I must have seen it earlier,
but passed it off into the subconcious mind or something! Anyway
it just just seemed to fit his character, so there you have it...
Introducing PUMPERNICKEL

Hope you like him :oD If he gets a few fans, he may just appear

again next month in a differerent pose!

My niece, LISA LEE has created a new blog for people who enjoy
making Artist Trading Cards. Anyone who is interested can pop

Colouring with Graphic Pencils - Tutorial

Hi everyone
I was editing this post and somehow I managed to delete
it, D'oh! so I am re-writing it, hopefully, it will still make
sense. This is a long post, so I hope I don't bore you to sleep,
you may want to go and grab a cuppa ;o)
I have had a few people ask me about colouring with lead
or graphic pencils, I use them for black and white challenges
as I don't have any grey copics. These pencils offer a great
alternative and give a great result. I must say however, that
I am by no means an expert in this area, this is just the method
that I use and it works for me :oD
So I have 4 pencils here, I use Derwent Graphic pencils in 2B,
4B, 6B and 8B. I also use a kneadable rubber, these can be
brought from most art supplies and some newsagents.
The difference in these pencils, is depth of shade and softness,
so the softer the pencil, the darker the shade!
You do not have to use the Derwent brand of pencils (these are
just my personal preference), any brand should be sufficient as
long as they offer these shades.

I have started by stamping the images, it doesn't matter which

ink you use, but black will look best. For the lighter skin tones

I start with 2b and darker skin tones I use 4B. I just scratch a

little colour on and then rub it with my index finger to kind of

smudge it and get an even skin tone, you can add (or take away

colour with your rubber) til you get the desired result...

add in cheeks, eyeshadow, any other details...

Then I start the hair and I go from light to dark, I leave an area
uncoloured to show hightights in the hair...

...and again, I shade from lightest to darkest using 2B, then 4B,
6B and 8B, you can always add or take colour til you get your
desired result. I do not rib these areas with my finger to blend
as I find that a few scratchy lines here and there can add texture
to the hair.

and then colour the clothes in much the same way

Here I want to show that different shades of these pencils, I
have shaded from darkest to to lightest (so 2B, then 4B, then,
6B and 8B), using the same amount of pressure on each pencil
and you can see that there is quite a bit of dofference in the depth
of colour. I'd also to show that the kneadable rubber can be used
to take colour away, so you can use it to create patterns too...

I hope that helps/inspires any of you to have a play with these
pencils, they really are alot of fun and offer an alternative to
other colouring methods.

MDUC colour challenge/story card

Hi everone,
This week over at Magnolia Downunder Challenges we have
a colour challenge. Use Orange, Pink, Green, Brown and
Blue. I must admit, I my first reaction was one of panic at
the thought of using so many colours together, but then I sat
and thought about it and went through my paper stash to help
me get started. I used the brown and green with a bit of blue
as my main colours and have added small amounts of pink and
orange and this is what I have come up with this week...

I thought I could use this as an Engagement card, and create

a 'Happily Ever After' theme.

The bird and braches were puched using a Stampin up punch,

I'm not sure what it is called, but it is one of the new ones.

How clever is she?

Hi everyone
how is your weekend so far?
Well, I was just doing the vaccuming and things and my 5 year
old daughter came and showed me what she was doing.

She made a little paper bag to hold her favourite DVD

and she made it all by herself, with no help from anyone!

She grabbed some copy paper, my tape (which have lying

around everywhere) and her scissors and just worked it out

by herself, clever little chicken!

She said she was going to ask me for some stamps and textas

but I looked too busy, so she drew her own picture, haha

don't you just love it...

I asked her if I could put her pic on my blog and she raced me
to the computer hahahaha

Hi everyone
just a quick post for Magnolia Downunder challenges
this challenge is Easel cards
I have had a busy weekend, including a suprise visit from some
very dear friends that I have not seen for a while :oD
I didn't have my post ready, so quickly raced in and uploaded
a photo and now I am able to complete my post (I have done
already, but the internet dropped out as I pressed publish grrr)
This will teach me to schedule my posts more often LOL
Anyway, I have made this for my Nephew and his girlfriend
who are getting married early next year.

I have added an Irish Wedding Blessing, I hope that it is readable
in this pic...

I am sorr about the not so sood picture quality, my camera's
batteries died and refused to take any more photos and my usual
supply of batteries has been eaten up by children's toys LOL

Black and white

Hi all,
I have made 2 cards today, first I have a card that I made for my
Niece's graduation later this year. I just brought the Roll call kit
by The Greeting Farm, it contains 10 characters and some fun
sentiments. I wanted to try and create a class photo and I made
a graduation hat and diploma and blackboard from scraps
of card. I have coloured these both using Graphic drawing pencils.

I have also made a card for for Daughter, she is doing her first

dance exams next week.

Well, a bit more than 5 mins, but anyway, I have been itching
to do a Lil' Lolita Boutique challenge for ages and this week

time for that and hey, I get to make a headstart on this year's cards!

Hi everyone

We have a fantastic challenge on over at Magnolia Downunder
Challenges this week, it's 'Christmas in July'
The Design Team have made some gorgeous, ispirational pieces
so why not pop on over and hav a look :oD

I wanted to do something a little different with this challenge,
with all the toy sales going on, I tend to go a bit nuts. My kids
both have December birthdays and I tend to grab bargains all
year long. By the end of the year, once I find all my hidden
bargains, I have enough for birthdays and christmas for a
couple years hahaha. But it works well, because I can shuffle
things around and quite often have gifts ready and waiting for
other kids on my gift list.

I am determined to be organised this Christmas, not only with
gifts, but with groceries, recipes that I want/need etc. This has
prompted me to make a 'Christmas Planner' to hopefully make
things run a little smoother...

I have made 4 little books that slip inside this folders pockets

The first book is to record friend's/family names and gifts, so you

can keep track of who you have already brought gifts for. I know

I sometimes forget, and my list grows longer each year!

I have some favourite recipes that I love using each year and

there are always new, yummy recipes we like to try, so I think

I definately need a book to keep all these yummy treats. I know

it will come in handy at the end of the year, when I forget what

ingredients I need for a particular recipe hehehe.

I have an ever growing list of Traditions and things that I need to

do throughout December. This booklet will be great for reminders

and hopefully every task will be covered in time for Christmas

without the "Oh no, I forgot..."

And finally, there's bound to be something else we need, so how

about a note book, where you can jot anything else that you

think of :oD

The folder ties neatly shut with ribbon, keep everything inside.

The back of the folder. I found this quote and the ones inside,

in a copy of the Kaisercraft workshop magazines that you used

to be able to pick up for free at your local scrapbook shop.

I know, it's been a long post, but it was alot of fun making this

and I thought I'd show each piece :oD

Oh the christmas tree on the cover was made using a scallop

circle punch from stampin up. I just cut wedges from ech circle

to make the tree shape and added rhinestones for baubles and

a star on top.

Hi everyone
I have just made a card for The Burtonesque Dolls
challenge #11 "Wood you like to be in a movie?"
taking inspiration from "Ed Wood" and creating
something in Black and white.

I absolutely LOVE working with Black and White, it allows
me to play with my lead pencils again :oD

When I first saw this stamp the first thought that came
to my mind was of Faye Dunaway in 'Bonnie and Clyde'
I just Love that movie, and I have dedicated this card to the
wonderful actress, with pics from the movie, a handmade
filmstrip and her Hollywood Star.

Ahoy there Matey!

Hi everyone
Today at Magnolia Downunder Challenges we have an awesome
challenge for you "One for the Boys" I would really LOVE to
see lots of entries this week, as we never really see alot of boys
cards and with all the gorgeous Edwins available, there should
be loads of inspiration for us all. You don't even actually have
to have an Edwin on your card, just as long as there is atleast
one Magnolia image :oD

I have made a Pirate Invitation using stamps from the recent
Fairytale collection of Magnolia stamps, plus a few other
images in my stash :oD

The pirate ship is a digital image and I have used some of the

black mesh ribbon that Kellie sells at Tickled Pink Stamps

and kind of bunch it up to look like fishnets in the first and last

images, and the little pirate map is a Kraftin' Kimmie accessory

stamp also available at Kellie's store.

The Pirate map in this image ia another digital image and I found

a pirate font and made the invation details on my computer,

leaving the blanks to be filled in later :o)

The pirate coins were in a favour bag from a previous party

and I've added a skull and crossbone brad.

The flag is from Tilda with a Jolly Roger and the treasure chest

with parrot is a stampin up stamp. The boat in the background

is another brad. Ive just torn card to create the sand and the sea.

Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly challenge #3

Hello everyone
How has your week been, did you enjoy the Lil' Lolita
previews? I know I did ;oD
As part of my guest DT spot for Tickled Pink Stamps
I get to make a DT card for challenge #3, woohoo :oD
This month we are using a sketch for inspiration, which
I will post below my card.

I have used the New range of Lil' Lolita Fashionette
stamps, because, I just think that they are fantastic!
You can buy them all HERE now and they can be
shipped Internationally too!

So onto my card...

I used these two girl charms to embellish my sentiment, as I

thought they'd be ideal for best friends, the image is stamped

into both sides allowing you to make them face toward each

other. I removed the shanks and stuck them either side. They

were available at Tickled Pink Stamps.

Hi everyone

Wow how gorgeous was Evie! I think she is already one of my
faves! Congratulations to Kellie and all the DT Girls, you all
did a wonderful job!
This evening, we are introducing 60's MOD Ivy ,
I just know you are going to love her!!!

You might want to grab your sunnies for my take though, lol...

I just love the 60's and I so wish that I was around to live the

moment! (mind you I only just missed out hehehe)

The sentiment that I used, was Computer generated, I actually

looked uo Austin Powers font and it came up :oD

Day 1 Lil' Lolita previews

Hi everyone,

Wow, How lucky am I??? I was recently chosen to be guest DT
member for Tickled Pink Stamps for the month of July, Woohoo!!!!
and the best bit is that I have been very fortunate, to be able to
take part in previewing the new range of Lil' Lolitas stamps,
OH MY GOD! Thankyou so much Kellie for letting me be a part
of this, I have really enjoyed working with these new images,
I love each and every one of them and I know that you all will too!!!

My first DT card for Magnolia Downunder

Hi Everyone

Exciting news! I have been asked to join Magnolia Downunder
Challenges Design Team, WOO HOO! Can you believe that?
I still can't believe it myself! Yay!!!!!!

This is my first creation, challenge #52 "Something Sweet"
I have made a card and a Favour box that can be filled with

chocolates, lollies, party favours etc.

I took inspiration for this card and matching treat box from

Claudia's creation in the second edition of Magnolia Ink. I looked

a template for a 'gable box' on the internet, there a many, but I

used THIS ONE click on free templates and find Gable box.

Stamps 60s Tilda, Chocolate boxes, Yummy

Papers Sugar sugar, Pink cardstock

Embellishments Girl and heart charms, leaves, mesh ribbon, heart doilie

MDUC challenge 50

Hi everyone

Just a quick post, it's almost time to pick up my little girl from
school. I have made a card for Magnolia Downunder challenge
#50 'Swirly swirls'

I didn't have any nice premade swirls, so I made my own lol...

I also stamped the edges of the circle with swirls using Perfect
medium and dusted it with shimmer chalks...

Perfect Poison

Hi everyone
I have just finshed my creations for the Tickled Pink stamp

monthly challenge This month, we are making a card and

matching or simular Bookmark...

using this sketch for inspiration ...

I have used 'Perfect Poison' from the Kraftin' Kimmie range

of stamps and you can buy her and all her friends HERE

I have used 'Build a brad' to make the little skull and crossbone

brads using the "So spooky" range of Magnolia Paper from

Tickled Pink Stamps.

But Wait...There's more!

After making the bookmark, I decided

that my set should have a book... and seeing at she is brewing up

a cocktail, I thought, hmmm a book where you can write down

your favorite cocktail recipes!

I just made this by sticthcing paper together (10 sheets) down the

spine to give 20 pages (or 40 front/back) and then I added the cover.

But Wait....There's MORE!!!

Do I sound like that annoying Demtel guy yet hahaha...

...well with a card, book and bookmark, I thought hmmm, now

I need something to put them all in, so I made the matching

Handbag as well!

so here we have the whole set ....

and Yes, they do all fit inside the bag, Yay!

...and the bag closes nicely with a little vecro dot (with everything

inside), although, the bookmark ribbon does poke out, oh well, I

should have tucked it in LOL.

Well that's about it from me...there's no more hahaha.

Oh and the bag measure 15cm by 15cm, by 5.5cm, I don't have

a template, but I'm sure they are out there somewhere, I've made

a few of these in the past and can'y remember where I first got

the idea. I may look at doing a tutorial for one soon.

I have just made a card for my little girl's friend's birthday
this weekend. She is ine of her closer friends, and she likes

Sleepy Hollow

Hello everyone,
How was your weekend? It's a public holiday here today and I
thought I'd get another card done :oD
I have been wanting to enter the Burtonesque Dolls challenge
for a while, but I always seem to run out of time. They always
look like alot of fun, so this time I'm onto it!
This week is challeng #5 "Sleepy hollow". Sorry I don't have
any of the awesome images that fit the scenes as well as
everyone else's seem too, but I do have the So Spooky magnolias,
I hope they are OK.
I'm using Bat Tilda and Dracula Edwin...

I have paper pieced the house, tree, fence and moon, and added
a little bit of shaing for depth.
The owl, bats and pumpkins are stickers.

Hello everyone,
I've just completed a card for Magnolia Downunder
challenge #49 "Polka dots" They will be celebrating
next week with their 50th challenge and lots of prizes,

I have used a digital image of a pupmkin and fairydust

in this card and masked it so that I could stamp Tilda and

hopefully make it look like she is casting the spell!
I have added stickles to the fairydust to add a little magic.

Hello everyone

I was very excited to get my package of charms and ribbon in
the mailbox yesterday and I finally have a Lil' Lolita stamp too, Yay!
Thanks Kellie. I couldn't wait to ink this up, so here is 'Willow'
you can find her and all the other Lil' Lotitas at Kellie's store HERE

I am entering this into the Tickled Pink Ribbon challenge , there
is a great tutorial for ribbon pleating on the blog, which I have
used in making this card, and I am using Kellie's sketch, so I will
also be making a third entry in the Tickled Pink Stamps monthly
challenge, (I have added the sketch below, it is the inspiration
used for the 1st challenge).

Sorry Ladies, I have used green again :oD, I think I like it a bit at

the moment, I also wanted to try paper toling Willow, it was a bit

fiddly, but I'm happy with her.

Here you can see the layers of the paper toling and I also popped
little ribbons in Willows hair...

and here is kellie's sketch that I have used...

MDUC challenge 48

Hi everyone

This week at Magnolia Downunder the challenge is "Flowers"
I also left my comfort zone a bit with this one using Green, a
colour that I do like, but I just don't really use :o)
I was going to add a sentiment, but thought it would make
the card look 'too busy'.

There are some really amazing creations by the DT girls and

lots of fantastic entries. including the awe inspiring Hanna,

from Hanna's Hobbyblogg,who produces the most stunning

cards you will ever see! She is 14 years old and Wow, take a

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

Hello everyone :oD
I have just had a go at making a "Shaped card" for
Magnolia Downunder Challenges #47

I must say, I did have alot of fun with this one and after
fiddling with a few ideas, I settled on a Princess carriage.
I don't have a template, or cutting machine, so I drew and
cut this carriage shape freehand.

I really wish I'd had my Prince Edwin stamp,

but he hasn't arrived yet (he'll probably come this arvo
now lol), so I settled on her Fairygodmother.

The carriage doors open out...

I've added glitter to Tilda's shoes, to try and achieve the

'glass slippers' look...

I added lots of glitter to this card, so it does look better in real

life...it's just trying to get the right angle on the camera to

capture it :oD

It's all about the dress!

Hi everyone :oD
How good are the new fairytale stamps? The only problem
is deciding which ones to ink up first, lol!

My friend's daughter is getting ready for her high school
ball, which is coming up soon. I asked her if she had a hot

date and she said "Oh, who needs a hot date, when you've

got the Hot Dress!", well, it did cost her mum an absolute
fortune hahaha.

Anyway I have taken inspiration from this for my latest
card, which I have made for the Magnolia Downunder
challenge #46 "Black, white/cream plus one"
I have used Pink ofcourse (is there any other colour lol)

I totally loved the Paper Tole challenge at Magnolia down under
and seeing I have my new stamps that all just want to be inked
up, I thought I'd have another go :oD

Kellie Winnell has opened a new challenge blog, called

A Christening card
