MDUC challenge #41 - second entry and Cupcake craft challenge 86

Hello again :oD
I have really enjoyed this "Olden Days" challenge
over at Magnolia Downunder, so I decided to make
another card. I really wanted to have a go at making
my image appear more like a photo, so I added a
cream coloured background to ithe image and kind of
distressed the edges (my first attemp lol) and I think I
managed to make it look kinda like an old photo.

I am also entering this into Cupcake Craft challenges
this week for "Childhood memories".

I spent a large part of my childhood, growing up in Kalgoorlie
(a country town in Western Australia), and I always remember
waiting and waiting for what seemed like forever for the
annual agricultural fair. I wanted to capture some of its spirit
in this card, which is what influenced my choice in papers.

Stamps         Tilda with balloons, Tilda as a shepherd
Colouring tools         2B, 4B, 6B, 8B Derwent pencils
Embelishments          Flowers, fillers, vintage look images.

Thanks for stopping by
Please feel free to leave a comment, I really do appreciate
your thoughts. Have a great day :oD
Happy stamping everyone
